Harry McNeer publishes a collection
of his ancestors’ Civil War letters

Harry McNeer is schedule to sign copies of his book,
“The Letters of John and Susan Morgan: A Story
of Everyday Life, Love and Loss in the Civil War Years,”

The book is a self-published collection

in grassroots history,” McNeer said. “These
letters contain 100 percent grassroots history.”
McNeer has taught part time in Adrian’s
modern languages and cultures department since 1995,
and is the former director of campus safety.
Shipman Library is located off Williams
Street on the Adrian College campus. Copies of the book,
