Artist exhibits photography and will speak on campus

ADRIAN, Mich. – World class artist and photographer Shelby Lee Adams will be exhibiting his photography as well as lecturing at Adrian College. Shelby Lee Adams will be speaking Wednesday, November 18 at noon in Dawson Auditorium as part of the College’s convocation series.

Adams’ exhibition Appalachian Images & Mountain Musicians is on display now and runs through December 9th in Stubnitz Gallery. His exhibition was sponsored by the Adrian College Art and Design Department, with funding through the generosity of the Adrian College Demeritt Lectureship fund, the Mildred A. Smith Lectureship Fund, the office of the Adrian College President, and Siena Heights University.

One of the prints from his exhibition will be chosen by President Docking, and donated to Adrian College.

Gallery hours are Monday through Saturday 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. and 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. on Thursdays. Stubnitz Gallery is located in Downs Hall on the College’s campus off of S. Madison St.
