the football team’s conference championship
showdown
ADRIAN, Mich. – Adrian
College football will host a “Black Out”
during this weekend’s conference game
against Trine University on Saturday, Nov. 8
at 1 P.M. This is a regular season game, however
the winner will win at least a share of the
MIAA conference championship.
All spectators are asked to
participate in the Black Out by wearing black
shirts. The Arrington Bookstore at the College
is offering a 10% discount to anyone who purchases
a black shirt this Thursday and Friday, Nov.
6 & 7.
There is a pep rally scheduled
for 5:15 PM on Friday night at the James Thomas
Pavilion and South End Zone of Multi-Sport Performance
Stadium.
A Bulldog win this Saturday
will be the football team’s first conference
title in 11 years and the school’s third
championship team in 2008.
All high school football players
who wear their jerseys to the game will be admitted
free of charge. Tickets can be purchased at
the door or in advance by contacting Ann Henning
in the athletic office at 517-265-5161 ext.
5044. The cost is $5 for general admission and
$3 for senior citizens/youth.
The Arrington Bookstore
is located in the Caine Student Center on Williams
St. Store hours for Thursday and Friday are
8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. Further information may
