Show promises to be a red carpet affair

Adrian, Mich. – Adrian College’s A.L.P.H.A. (African Americans Promoting Higher Achievement) is back once again with its Annual Fashion & Talent Show on Friday Nov. 14, 2008 at 7 P.M. in Dawson Auditorium. The models will be wearing the latest fashions from local Adrian stores such as Maurice’s, D.E.B., Golden Gear and Aéropostale.

Seven student acts will perform during the talent portion of the show. Acts will include vocal, dance, and instrumental performances. Winners of the talent show will win cash prizes. Judges for this year’s talent show are Dr. Dale Nesbary, dean and vice president of academic affairs; Cindy Beaubien, administrative assistant to the executive vice president; and Shannon Martineau, director of career planning.

Admission is free for Adrian College students, faculty and staff, and $3.00 for all others. Dawson Auditorium is located off of Charles St. on the Adrian College campus.
