Art Department Offers
Youth Art Program posted

this Saturday, Oct. 18
ADRIAN, Mich. - The Adrian
College Art and Design Department invites children
to enroll in the fall Youth Art Program, FISH,
BUGS, and REPTILES, on Saturdays from October
18 thru November 22, 2008. Classes will run
9:30 A.M. until noon in room seven of Mahan
Hall.
Students will study a variety
of species with biologists and naturalists and
will learn about clay tiles, making prints from
actual fish, as well as drawing and painting
live reptiles. The program is for 1st-8th grade
students and the cost is $70 per student which
includes materials. For any student who signs
up after Oct. 18 the cost is $60.
Scholarships are available
for students who qualify for the free lunch
program due to the generosity of Wacker Silicone.
Mahan Hall is located between
the Shipman Library and the Caine Student Center
on Williams St. To obtain further information
