World renowned saxophonist performs in concert

ADRIAN, Mich. - Canadian saxophonist Michael Ibrahim presents an adventurous program of concert music for saxophone and piano on Thursday, October 9 at 8 P.M in Spencer Hall. With pianist Jun Okada, their program includes works by G.P. Telemann, Jeannine Rueff, Paule Maurice, Peter Ablinger, and Edison Denisov.

Michael Ibrahim enjoys an active career of solo, chamber, and orchestral work in both contemporary and traditional realms. Ibrahim currently serves as visiting assistant professor of saxophone at West Virginia University.
