Adrian College Art Student Wins Big Award posted 10/30/07

ADRIAN, Mich. - Art education student Alicia Laeder ('07), who is currently student teaching, was awarded the Michigan Art Education Association Memorial Endowment Fund/Art Scholarship. She was presented with the award at the awards banquet Friday, October 12th during MAEA's annual conference in Grand Rapids. Only one student scholarship is awarded per year from a pool of statewide entrants.

Alicia is well respected by both faculty and fellow students for her artistic and academic abilities. Alicia is versatile in both 2D and 3D media and has had her work showcased both on and off campus. Alicia is a member of the Mortar Board and Phi Eta Sigma honor society.
