This database is produced by the National Institutes of
Health and is especially useful for psychology topics
that have a medical component, such as drug treatment
of psychological disorders. It provides references to
articles in medical journals. Full text may be available
for some articles as well.
PsycINFO
This is the most comprehensive database for research in
psychology. It provides references to articles from psychology
journals, and includes coverage of books for recent decades.
Full text may be available for some articles.
Social
Sciences Abstracts (1983-)
Provides references to articles in the social sciences,
including psychology. Full text may be available for some
articles as well. While PsycINFO, above, provides
far better coverage of psychology journals, this database
can be useful for developing a multidisciplinary perspective
on a topic.
