Frequently Asked Questions we have received from AC Staff:

Will my E-mail address change?

No. Your email address will continue to be username@adrian.edu.    It will NOT change to username@gmail.com

Will my existing E-mail be moved to this new account?

For the vast majority, yes. For some special cases, we will have to make a visit to your computer in order to manually move them over. We'll begin that process on July 16th, so, if your mail still isn't showing up by July 16th, contact Derek Brown or Brad Maggard.

Can I still use Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express?

Yes. But, you will not have the benefits of using G-mail, most notably that your e-mail will be accessible from anywhere, anytime, as long as you have access to a computer on the Internet. You will also miss out on the shared calendar features in G-mail. We highly recommend you give the web based G-mail interface a try.
