Will
the credits I earn transfer back to Adrian
College?
The credits you earn will be applied to
the bachelor's degree from Adrian College.
Grades received in those courses will show
on your permanent transcript and will count
in your cumulative grade point average.
Is
Adrian College affiliated with any national
study abroad programs?
Yes! Adrian College is affiliated with many
Study Abroad and Service Learning organizations.
Click on “Resources
& Affiliates” to see
a complete list.
I'm planning
on studying abroad or in an off-campus program
next semester. Do I still need to register
at Adrian College?
Yes. In order to
receive academic credit for the work you
complete off campus, you must complete the
“Study Abroad Checklist,” available
from the Study Abroad Director. During this
process you will meet with the Adrian College
Registrar to register you for 12 generic
“study abroad” credits. This
does not limit you to taking only 12 hours
while abroad. It also does not guarantee
that you will earn 12 hours of credit if
less work is completed abroad. It merely
shows your intent in being a full-time student.
After your program, the
affiliate institution will send an official
transcript to the Adrian College Registrar’s
Office, and the registrar will enter the
credit earned into the computer system.
How do
I register for my next semester at Adrian
College while I'm abroad?
During the course
selection process, please use the Bell
Tower system to select courses
for the semester following your time abroad.
Information on dates and registration deadlines
will be found on the following page:

Once you’ve selected

contact your Academic Advisor or the Registrar’s
Office and ask them to “push
the button” or finalize your registration.
