Students interested in health careers of all kinds can look to the Institute for help.

Descriptions and videos of dozens of health professions are available through the Institute. We maintain current salary data and representative job descriptions so students can learn all they can about a health career they may wish to pursue. A password protected web location permits students to research and plan their health career at their complete convenience. This site includes comprehensive information about roles in clinical care, in health care administration, in public health, and in scientific research.

During the undergraduate years, we keep students advised about course pre-requisites commonly required in their area of interest. In addition, we support students in preparing for the entry exams (MCAT, GRE, DAT, etc) through Adrian College's unique collaboration with a national test preparation service and our own programming.

When it comes time to choose a professional school, students can review academic program descriptions from all over the country which are maintained in our office. Periodically, we site-visit many schools, and therefore have personal information to pass along to students.

Interested in health care, but not graduate school? No problem, we also have ideas for students who plan to seek employment in health care upon graduation from Adrian College.

Let the Adrian College Institute for Health Studies assist you in planning your professional future. We look forward to working with you.
