Skate Information

Arrington Ice Arena offers the following skating opportunities to the public:

Public Skate
Public Skates are open to all community members. Sessions are designed for skaters at both the beginner and advanced levels. Arrington Ice Arena offers a fun and safe atmosphere for all of its skaters, from children to adults. Public skates on Friday and Saturday nights will be "cosmic skates" featuring a live DJ and disco-like lighting.

Entrance for public skates costs $4 per person, and $1 per person for rental skates.

Sticks & Pucks
Sticks & Pucks is open to all ages for hockey skill development.  The equipment requirement is now full equipment with anyone under the age of 18 required to wear a full cage. Cost is $6.

Drop-In Hockey
Drop-In Hockey is for ages 16 and up and participants compete in pick-up teams at time of session. First 30 skaters and first 4 goal tenders will be the maximum allowed players on the ice at one time. Cost per skater is $10, goal tenders are free.

Open Free Style Figure Skating
Open Free Style Figure Skating is an open session for figure skaters to work on skill development needed to compete in USFSA or ISI. Cost per skater is $5 per session. Sessions will take place Monday's 6 - 7:50PM and Thursday's 4 - 5:50PM, unless there is an Adrian College Hockey game scheduled.

Adrian Over-30 Hockey Association
Adrian Over-30 Hockey Association is an independent league that utilizes AIA ice times for community members over the age of 30. For more information please contact Walt Fischoff at 517-673-3021. http://www.aotha.com

Drop-In Broomball
Drop-In Broomball is the only non-skating sessions held at AIA. Participants are required to wear tennis shoes and helmets. Sticks and additional equipment are offered by AIA management. Cost per person is $6.
