| Geology seems to creep its way into most of my personal interests. I love being outdoors, enjoy camping and am an avid hiker, backpacker, skier (when the snow is covering up all those cool rocks) and kayaker. I also enjoy mineral collecting and always jump at the opportunity to get out into the field and collect minerals. Gazing at the stars (I'm also a bit of an astronomer) fills those evenings at the campsites. When I do stop thinking about geology, or am forced inside by the weather, I enjoy playing guitar (although that often happens around the campfire) and reading. |
