Adrian College is a private, co-educational liberal arts college of about 1000 students. Related to The United Methodist Church, it is a traditional four-year, residential college that focuses completely on undergraduate education. It is located in Adrian, Michigan. (pop. 22,000), about 45 minutes from Ann Arbor and Toledo, Ohio, and 90 minutes from Detroit.

Marketing Professor
Adrian College, a growing private residential college of 1350 undergraduates, seeks a marketing faculty member to join its professional, yet collegial, five member accountancy and business administration department. Teaching and academic advising excellence, college service and professional development including publication are the basic responsibilities of the position. Adrian College has a national reputation for excellence in the teaching and mentoring of undergraduate students.

The ideal candidate will have professional, as well as, teaching experience in the marketing communications field and will be expected to assist in the development of an advertising major utilizing existing courses, as well as, developing new ones. Agency experience and comfort with digital interactive media and search engines are desired. Teaching marketing courses outside of the marketing communications area is expected.

A Ph.D. is required. Consulting activity is supported.

This tenure track position is for the 08-09 academic year and includes a twelve month contract teaching a two semester, four courses per semester load. Compensation includes a comprehensive health benefit package, dependent tuition waiver and a TIAA-CREF employer matching retirement savings program.
