What is
H.A.N.D.S.?
H.A.N.D.S.
stands for Helping to Appreciate the Needs of the Disabled
in Society. The goal of this student organization is
to help people with disabilities and to educate the
Adrian campus as well as the community about disabilities.
H.A.N.D.S. students learn sign language, work with other
students with disabilities, and visit children's hospitals
and nursing homes. They support the Adrian College Disabilities
Awareness Week. They also attend informational functions
