John Hiner, '82, is the editor of The Bay City Times in Bay City, Michigan. John started his journalism career in Adrian, moved on to Jackson and came to Bay City in 1994. He is the father of Alex,13, and Carly, 4, and is married to Kathy, an art teacher for Bay City Public Schools. They live in Auburn. John is active in professional and civic groups, plays competitive tennis and enjoys writing, traveling, dining out and playing golf.
