Kevin
Hile '88. After graduating
from Adrian College, Kevin Hile ’88 married Janet
Crawford ('87) and worked for the reference book giant
Gale/Thomson in Detroit for ten years. He then moved
to Okemos to serve as an editor and later Web site developer
for American Collegiate Marketing. Since 2001, he has
been a freelance writer, editor, and Web site designer.
For the most part, Kevin still works on reference publications
and Web sites for other companies, but he has also published
several of his own books. His in-print publications
include Trial of Juveniles as Adults, Chelsea House,
2003; Animal Rights, Chelsea House, 2004; and The Steel
of Enadia (fantasy novel), Double Dragon Press, 2004.
His current project is a history of Lansing's Potter
Park Zoo for Michigan State University Press. Tentatively
titled Little Zoo by the Red Cedar, it is scheduled
for publication in spring 2007. Kevin lives in Mason,
Michigan, with his wife, Janet, and is an active volunteer
at Potter Park Zoo.
