Kevin Hile '88. After graduating from Adrian College, Kevin Hile ’88 married Janet Crawford ('87) and worked for the reference book giant Gale/Thomson in Detroit for ten years. He then moved to Okemos to serve as an editor and later Web site developer for American Collegiate Marketing. Since 2001, he has been a freelance writer, editor, and Web site designer. For the most part, Kevin still works on reference publications and Web sites for other companies, but he has also published several of his own books. His in-print publications include Trial of Juveniles as Adults, Chelsea House, 2003; Animal Rights, Chelsea House, 2004; and The Steel of Enadia (fantasy novel), Double Dragon Press, 2004. His current project is a history of Lansing's Potter Park Zoo for Michigan State University Press. Tentatively titled Little Zoo by the Red Cedar, it is scheduled for publication in spring 2007. Kevin lives in Mason, Michigan, with his wife, Janet, and is an active volunteer at Potter Park Zoo.
