Don J. Helser, BA, '71, is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser providing valuation and consulting services in Monroe, Michigan. A member of The Appraisal Institute, he specializes in the areas of taxation, estate planning-settlement and a broad range of litigation support. Wife Susan A. (McKenzie) Helser, MA, is an elementary teacher for Monroe Public Schools. The household is completed by daughter Adrianne Elise and son Christian J., II. The Helsers reside on a family farm in Raisinville Township, Monroe County. Don is active in the Home Builders Association of Monroe County and the Monroe County Association of Realtors; as well as serving on the Troop Committee, Troop 511, BSA and District Committee, Running Waters District, BSA. The little spare time remaining is devoted to managing the family farms and Don's lifelong passion for gun collecting and the shooting sports.
