Deanna lives locally and recently retired from Madison High School as the technology coordinator. She has served on the Alumni Board from 2005-2009 and as its vice president since 2005. Deanna will began her duties as Alumni Board president after the spring meeting in May 2007.

She is married to Jim Hartley and has one daughter, Carrie Hartley, a 1999 graduate of Adrian College.
