Deanna lives locally and works at Madison High School as the technology coordinator. She has served on the Alumni Board since 2003 and as its vice president since 2005. Deanna will begin her duties as Alumni Board president after the spring meeting in May 2007.

She is married to Jim Hartley and has one daughter, Carrie Hartley, a 1999 graduate of Adrian College.
