Danelle Perkins Gittus graduated from Adrian College in 1997 with a degree in Communications. She and Scott Gittus were married in 1999 and are now raising two children, Brenna and Keith, in Hartland, Michigan.

Danelle is a Public Relations Specialist at Oakland Schools in Waterford, where she began her employment as an intern in May 1995. She earned her Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) in 2005.

Danelle served on the Central Michigan Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) board, is Past-President of the Oakland County School Public Relations Association (OCSPRA) and currently serves on the Michigan School Public Relations Association (MSPRA) Board as President-Elect.
