Jim Culbertson ’63 retired in 1997 from Ford Motor Company after 32 years of service. He and his wife, Sharon, live in South Lyon, and have two children, Dawn and Jim, and six grandchildren. He joined the SAE fraternity while pursuing his BS at Adrian, and his hobbies include golf, gardening, travel, and volunteering. Jim is a member of Walnut Creek Community Church and the South Lyon Planning Commission. His volunteer efforts benefit the South Lyon Meals on Wheels program and the Adopt-a-Reader program. In addition, Jim ushers for the Detroit Symphony as well as at venues such as the Gem Theater, Fox Theater, and Masonic Temple.
