Arrival Procedures for International Students

Please refer to the admission packet you are sent when scheduling dates for arrival and departure. A representative of Adrian College will greet you at either Detroit Metropolitan Airport or Toledo Express Airport and bring you to campus.

On campus, you will find faculty advisors and College staff members ready to help you prepare a course schedule. A representative from the Office of Multicultural Student Services will assist you in obtaining a social security card, setting up a bank account, meeting some of the other international students and even meeting the College president! Transportation will be provided so that you can purchase any clothing, personal supplies and items needed for your room.

You will find that American students will be eager to hear about your country, its geography, foods, traditions and customs. They will share their pastimes with you and will include you in social events and informal get-togethers. Before long you will feel at home, just like any other Adrian student. With your talents, questions and aspirations, you will eagerly pursue your personal best future through an excellent education gained at Adrian College.
