International applicants must submit the following official documents:

- Official secondary school records showing subjects studied and marks earned. International applicants should have earned a grade point average comparable to a "3.0 = B" on a 4.0 scale in secondary school work and in any college coursework. That is an "above average" academic record.
- Copy of any applicable certificates (i.e. Diplomas)
- Official TOEFL scores or other proof of English proficiency. Required scores are as follows:
Internet Based Test = 61
Computer Based Test = 500
Paper Based Test =173
All documents should be translated into English and certified official. For the safety of the student, we do not accept faxes or scanned documents for I-20 issuance. If you need assistance certifying your documentation, please visit World Education Services.
It can take a very long time to collect and submit all the necessary documentation to Adrian College and it may take months to get an appointment for a visa. We advise you to begin your application process long before you actually hope to begin classes. Students seeking entrance to the August semester must apply no later than May 1. Applicants for the January semester must meet an October 1 deadline.
When you are admitted to Adrian College and have supplied all additional financial documentation, we will send you a complete packet containing all the information you'll need to plan for your arrival. Among other things, your packet will contain your official letter of admission to the College and the I-20 form that you must take to the Consulate in order to obtain your visa. It will also contain a housing form that you must complete and fax to us. You must also list dates and show proof of immunizations for measles, mumps, rubella, polio, diphtheria, and tetanus on a medical history from which you will receive. Students must also complete online health insurance waiver form.
Carefully review the instructions for planning your arrival at Adrian. We will tell you the earliest date that housing will be available for you. Also, students may not enroll late. You must plan carefully to arrive at the appropriate time.
*** Note: After acceptance, all Chinese students must submit a $5,000 USD enrollment deposit to secure admission. |
