Adrian College's Honors
Program
The Honors Program offers
students the opportunity to add an extra element
of challenge and achievement to their academic
experience. Through the Honors Program, motivated
students of demonstrated ability may work with
other talented students in an atmosphere of
intellectual excitement and discovery. The Honors
Program promotes the best qualities of a liberal
arts education: breadth and depth.
Entry Requirements
- Students must prepare
a formal written application.

Adam Coughlin, Honors Program Director.
- Entry -- 24 ACT and 3.6
HS GPA for incoming freshmen; 3.5 GPA for
current AC students.
- Status -- 3.5 GPA overall,
3.3 in major.
- Honors Colloquium -- 1
credit up to 4 times, three required.
Curriculum
- Honors Pre-Professional
Scholar course -- Students will have
an opportunity to work with a professor with
the goal of understanding the craft of scholarly
presentation, publication, exhibition, and
performance.
- Honors Courses
-- Students must complete six honors
courses.
- Honors Capstone
Experience -- Students will be required
to complete a major project based upon their
proposal to enter the Honors Program, unless
have similar experience in major.
- Study Abroad /
Study Domestic -- Students will be
required to complete an off campus experience
internationally or domestically.
- Registration
-- Honors students are allowed to register
for classes one day prior to other students.
