Political Science

Understanding politics becomes more and more important as the world moves toward democracy and the role of citizens in government grows. The Political Science Department at Adrian emphasizes the study of democracy and democratization, providing its graduates with a foundation that prepares them to be active and effective participants in government, law or business.

Most political science students at Adrian participate in at least one professional internship. Whether is is local, or in Chicago, Washington, D.C. or Philadelphia, students work on political campaigns, in law offices, government agencies, the United Nations, and international non-governmental organizations.

Political Science is an excellent course of study for the Pre-Law program.
