computer schools for poor people in Haiti
while a college student. She attended graduate
school at University of Michigan, worked in
Africa for two years, and is now knowledge
manager for the nonprofit Freedom from Hunger.
Alumna Lekha Fernandes worked in the United
Arab Emirates for an international company
specializing in communication solutions for
telecom providers.
While studying in Mexico, John Simmons researched
the effects of NAFTA on small Mexican businesses.
He is now Manager of International Operations
for the U.S. Grains Council in Washington,
D.C.
