Math Lab Information

The Math Lab provides drop-in tutoring for students taking Mathematics courses through Math 135, Calculus and Analytic Geometry I. The Math Lab is run by the Department of Mathematics and staffed by student tutors. It is open 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.

Tasks:

• provide individual and small group tutoring for students in introductory math courses
• goal is to help the students in introductory mathematics courses
• be at Math Lab at specified hours and be available
• help work on homework problems, reviewing class material, discussing the assigned textbook readings, etc.
• proctor tests or quizzes
• perform simple grading during the hours they work
• It is required to complete Calculus II with a good final grade.
