Ken Henningfeld
has been a teacher for his entire adult life, serving for thirty-three
years as a high school mathematics instructor for Adrian High School
before coming to Adrian College. In this position, he taught all levels
of mathematics, specializing in Advanced Algebra and FST (Functions,
Statistics, and Trigonometry). He pioneered the use of writing in
the mathematics curriculum and developed group projects to engage
students in mathematical problem solving. At Adrian, Ken teaches Math
101: College Algebra and Math 099: Developmental Mathematics. In his
spare time, Ken enjoys running, hiking, and gardening.
