GLATA is the association for District 4 including
Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota,
and Illinois. Athletic Training Students may
become GLATA members to attend conferences,
network, and benefit from academic scholarship
opportunities.

Athletic Trainers’ Society (MATS)

MATS is Michigan’s state association.
If you are a member of the NATA and a resident
of Michigan, membership to this society is
free. State membership allows for outstanding
educational opportunities, athletic training
student scholarships, and important public
education regarding the profession of athletic
training.
The
Board of Certification (BOC)

The
BOC is the national certifying body for athletic
trainers. This site will offer all the necessary
information for preparing and registering
for the national certification exam, state
licensure, as well as continuing education
requirements in order to maintain certification.
